Yes this is significant swelling. Treat it with Benadryl cream or hydrocortisone cream. You should also take a Benadryl pill . If the swelling doesn’t go down by Monday I’d let your doctor know and I’d definitely mention it the next time you get shots either way. Maybe talk to them about a Benadryl flush
Be careful if you notice it getting worse at all. I felt the same about bananas “Sure, I get itchy but I love them so much, I can deal with it” and kept eating them until eating banana bread makes me itchy and eating a whole banana makes me feel flu-ish for half a day.
Oh yeah. Being allergic to banana basically means I cannot trust any fruit-related or baked good. Even if it’s not listed in the ingredients. Places with fruit use the same cutting boards. Bakeries make banana bread on the same counter as everything else. After all, who’s allergic to banana anyway? That’s not a really thing,
I am 31 years old white (European) woman. I’m 4′ 11″ and 80 lbs, ectomorph somatotype, varied and abundant diet. I has been suffering from nasopharnx infections during 4 years, after a lot of antibiotics cycles, 2 years ago I was diagnostiqued with a thorwald cyst in my nasopharyx, my ENT removed it and the
Thought I’d share the coconut free products google doc that I’ve been working on. This is for anyone that’s sensitive to coconut and coconut derivatives! I made it for myself as well as the patients at the dermatologist’s office I work at but I figured there are some people out there suffering that could use
Neat idea. Especially for other people that have someone with allergies over for dinner. I have a lot of experiences with people doing their best, and still buying something I can’t eat. A few questions that come up: I am guessing when you’re using bar codes it is only functional in your country? Are you
Allergies can develop later in life. Looks like something my sister get. She has a dust allergy. Dust sets itself pretty easily everywhere. Like in bed sheets, pillows, carpets, hair.. so it’s important that she keeps clean at all times. However it’s best for you to check with a doctor and see what tests could
level 1 That’s a bruise not a allergic reaction. Are you anemic?
Sorry I wasnt clear. I meant remove the trapped alergens caught in the leaves, not the fuzz of the leaves. 🙂 This is more because it came in a trade, so I am guessing that the allergens from the other house are stuck on the fuzz on the leaves and I am wondering if a
My hay fever allergies are bad, like really really bad. Like I pretty much panic if I go anywhere without enough tissues and nasal spray. Antihistamines, though taken twice a day, don’t seem to change anything. Every morning I wake up with a stuffed nose that takes 30 mins to unclog. Last week my allergies
What type of allergy pill have you been taking? Also note that if you have difficulty breathing or swallowing, you should go to an ER immediately, as these may be signs of more serious problems like anaphylaxis, which can be fatal. You can call them ahead to tell them you’re coming so they can help
level 1 I get different kinds of hives, eczema and psoriasis. This looks like what I get when I use a soap my skin doesn’t agree with.
Hi! I’m not sure if I should ask this here but I have what I believe is a sun allergy that recently developed only a couple years ago. So I’m just wondering if anyone can help me identify what this is, why this is happening to me and how can I “cure” it possibly?? Heres
Put several metal spoons in the freezer and roll them on your eyes (maybe add an eye cream so it glides) to help the fluid drain. Then apply concealer, setting powder and mascara. If your interview is via zoom, go to settings –> video settings and enable “touch up my appearance”. This will help blur
O man, I remember my first suffering year. It was terrible, I didn’t even know I had it. I kept taking cough medicines and it wouldn’t go. It started with just chocked throat, dry cough and running nose; so obviously the cough medicines, lol. I would’ve never suspected it. I’m one of the few people
Do you have a cat? Could be flea bites if you had the cat sitting on your lap. I get a similar looking rash after handling my guinea pigs, it’s super itchy. I have not yet had my guinea pigs tested for mites, but it think I have a sensitivity to the normal skin mites
I had a really bad episode of this once when I walked too close to the open “weigh and pay” nut section at a grocery store. Not sure what your allergies are but the Dr. Bronner’s tea tree soap cleared me right up. When washing my face, I count to 60 (got that advice from
No idea what has caused this but assume it’s food and not a skincare product. Rash is incredibly hot and burning on my face, neck and chest. I do have celiac disease so could’ve consumed gluten by accident but ive never had this type of reaction before. I did also start taking a chamomile, magnesium,
I’m allergic to mold, and molds that grow in soils seem to bother me. I’m currently doing allergy shots, which I hope will help, but I really want to be able to grow plants inside come the fall. I’m wondering if I get a little greenhouse to put in my apartment (like this) if that
I’ve never had the lotion itself sting whilst using it, my stinging feeling comes from just rubbing the skin itself. The best way I can describe it is imagine rubbing sunburn on yourself, that kind of feeling. My initial thoughts to some kind of allergic reaction is because of how concentrated the patches seem across
PhD here who had part of their thesis on drug delivery in the stomach/gut: Your hesitation is warranted here. The title makes it suggest that many or all allergies are related to your stomach health. That’s just not true. Be careful not to search for a cause when you know the effect. There are many
These came up yesterday and are very itchy, they all look different and I can’t figure out what’s causing them. Ones on my legs are very red and inflamed compared to the one on the back of my hand and on my ankle. I have a couple elsewhere on my body as well and the
I’d say just tell whoever you’re around first so they know and can take precautions. I have asthma as well, and I’m a wrestler. It may take a bit getting used to if you’re going to start consistently pushing yourself, and you may feel a bit stunted in stamina, but it will eventually feel better.
This might be an odd question but does anyone know if Polysporin triple antibiotics is related to amoxicillin? Recently, I had a bike injury and I started using this to treat a wound. Sure enough, after a day or two, I started having rashes. I’m allergic to amoxicillin and I end up getting rashes after
Looks to be an allergic reaction from a plant. Here in Seattle, we have, bedstraw and I found out the hard way that I’m very allergic to it. The dotted line is the same I had all over my lower legs and upper body. Galium is a large genus of annual and perennial herbaceous plants
Hey y’all! I have seasonal allergies and intermitted asthma. So far this spring my allergies have been pretty mild, but it’s still been relatively cool where I’m from. I get the occasional sniffles, sneezing, and itchy eyes. Weirdly enough this season, my post nasal drip has been horrid and causing a lot of that wonderful
